What this plugin does:

Transfers artistic style from one image to another. Often the source is an artistic image and the target is a realistic, photo image. But you can also transfer between artistic images or between realistic images.

An artist might say this plugin "renders in the media and style from another image." A computer user might say it "renders in the theme of another image."

This script will warp text to fit inside a four-point "Bezier patch". The bezier patch is created with the Path Tool by first placing an anchor where the upper-left corner of the text should go, followed by three more anchors running clockwise around the perimeter.  read more »

The script adds an "Extend to Image Size" command under the Layer Menu which will scale the (visible portion) of the active layer so that it has the same dimensions as the image canvas.  read more »

This plugin is an alternative to the existing Engrave plugin
supplied with GIMP.

Basically, the plug-in transforms a grayscale image into a series of
horizontal lines of varying widths.

For example, the following (small) image

can be transformed into:

(stand back 10-20 feet).

This script generates rotated copies of the current layer.
It can be used to draw star-like images (see jpg below)
Save the script in your scripts folder, you will find it under Layer -> Transform -> repeat rotation.

Questo script in python altro non è che una mia personalizzazione e relativa traduzione in italiano basato sul codice "Batch resize" di Carol Spears.
Ho volutamente messo i margini a zero perchè le miniature impaginate possano essere agevolmente tagliate ed ottenere delle piccole foto da un'impaginato grande. Io lo uso per creare in maniera del tutto automatica dei mini album partendo dall'impaginato grande, infatti ci sono pure le misure che uso io col mio laboratorio che stampa in banda 406mm. Si può comunque utilizzare pure per creare delle provinature nei vari formati.  read more »

"Scale in steps" resizes an image to the given dimensions in several steps to get a way sharper result compared to resizing in one step. The step size is given in percent and should range between seven and ten percent.

Traditional scaling

Lomo-Gimp tries to give your digital pictures the warmth of those taken by an old rangefinder analog camera. Think of it as a Kodak Instamatic or a Lomo Holga faking effect. It enhances contrast and saturation, and applies a light and a dark overlay, trying to emulate incorrectness in exposition. Please note this does nothing to emulate the chromatic aberration peculiar in pictures taken using a real Lomo.

This plug-in changes colors in an image based on the HSV difference between two colors. This is particularly useful for applying color themes to existing images.
It avoids burning out high saturation and value at the expense of compression them somewhat when the difference goes towards higher saturation and value.
Current bugs/missing features include:
Undo does not work.
It can't be used on indexed images, even though it would frequently have enough colors.  read more »

Script merges multiple images to another one with grid layout.

• You can use it for printing multiple photos on one paper, creating posters, wallpaper, CD/DVD covers, etc.
• You can duplicate images in final grid to print visit-card, etc.
