This is a compilation of some wonderfull scripts of Iccii and some other scripts I 've made myself, all brought together is one script-fu file to make the installation very simple.

Contains : Cartoon, Color pencil, Conte crayon, Cutout, Drawing, Inkpen, Note Paper, Paint dot image, Palette knife, Pastel, Stamp, Water paint effect, (plastic) Wrap effect. Angled strokes, Crosshatched, Chrome image, Cross light, Funky color, Soft focus, Solarisation, Brick wall, Patchwork, Stained glass, Texturizer, High pass, Scroll, ...

Photography is really an art.

Photography is really an art. And being a face painter, I can relate with that. In fact im working on new Designs For Animal Face Painting and sometimes I look at animal photographs for inspiration.

photo effects

I'm not a computer whiz by any means. But I downloaded and unzipped the files, they did not work. So I checked the file extension and found they were .txt. I renamed file extensin to .scm and now they work find. So make sure they are .scm. I hope that works for ya'll. Thanks for the scipts they are just what I was looking for.

Error msg.'s

Okay, I am trying to use these presets in version 2.6. I believe I have installed the script properly as I have installed several other scripts with out any problems. However, I keep receiving a Gimp Alert: Plug-In 'Pastel' left image undo in inconsistent state, closing open undo groups. Followed by: Error while executing script-fu-pastel-image-G2: Error: set!: unbound variable: marged-layer I really want to be able to use these scripts, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update

Okay, I'm not sure if these scripts are just not updated for version 2.6 but I did find a resource that has these same scripts and presets for gimpressionist that haven't sent me any errors. Also comes with a few more, I think there are 96 in total. http://www.gimphelp.org/script24.shtml

Hoping to find some suggestions here

I have been tasked with digitizing hand-drawn diagrams (pencil on graph paper). I have scanned one of the images,
which were originally photocopied, so there is no color differentiation between the graph lines and the penciled diagrams. I would like to get rid of the graph lines, and harvest just the hand-drawn diagrams. Any suggestions on how to approach this using GIMP?

Do not overlook the gimpimpressionist preset

Script are excellent anyway to work they require also the gimpimpressionist preset (included in the zip) to be installed (as explained here http://users.telenet.be/ev1/gimpphotoeffects_en.html) Since that is a bit unusual many may miss this point so i think better point it out here

To make the filters work

To make the filters work without giving mistakes I had to copy the files in /usr/share/gimp/.... and then it was as in the README file. Before that, moving them only to the home folder, I received mistakes for most of the filter. Now they're ok and I really missed them in GIMP../

It works

If u want it to work, just copy the Presets in the archive also to /usr/share/gimp/2.0/gimpressionist/Presets/ and the Scripts also to /usr/share/gimp/2.0/scripts/ You won't have any errors anymore, but be aware of the fact that now every user can use the Plugins and not just you. Greetz

Im getting "mistakes" when I

Im getting "mistakes" when I am trying to use some of the filters. I cant understand what the previous person is talking about in terms of copying the files. I have followed the readme instructions. What is the next step to get them to all work without "mistakes?" Thank you!

Also having errors

Most of the effects give errors although I followed the installation instructions in the readme file. If anyone knows how to fix them please post.

There are only a Few that work properly ....

I would like to know which of these are needed now ... Is this set of options a non runner .... now ...... These 6 Work ..... Cartoon and Colour Pencil and Drawing Angled Strokes and Crosshatched ..... also .... Chrome Image work for me in 2.6.6 So the rest > Cartoon 2 ? what advantages over cartoon ? Texture ..... Brick Wall ? this might be good !!!
